A man previously under bail supervision for firearm-related offenses is facing fresh charges after an alleged shooting incident in Westmoreland.
Renaldo Richards, 25, was reportedly apprehended at the Savanna-la-Mar Police Station on Tuesday, where he was complying with his bail requirements. Police now link him to an incident on September 6, where gunshots were allegedly fired at a taxi transporting passengers in Petersfield, injuring two people.
Richards is now formally charged with multiple offenses, including two counts of wounding with intent, unlawful possession of a firearm, and committing a felony with a firearm. He had previously faced charges for unauthorized possession of ammunition.
