Recording artist Wesrok is making waves internationally as his new track, True Love, climbs onto the Billboard Country Digital Song Sales chart. The song, a heartfelt collaboration with the renowned American reggae band Big Mountain, entered the chart at #86 last week, adding a fresh milestone to Wesrok’s career.

Reflecting on this success, Wesrok shared how the collaboration came together. “A friend introduced me to Big Mountain’s lead singer, Joaquin McWhinney. When I sent him True Love, he was immediately excited to work on it. We joined forces with a talented producer in Mexico, blending our styles to create something really unique,” he said.

True Love is an emotional exploration of love’s resilience and connection, resonating widely with listeners. Given the song’s positive reception, Wesrok has announced that a music video is in the works, with filming set for Mexico at the end of October.

Before the video’s release, fans can catch Wesrok live on October 27 in Fort Myers, Florida, at the Suga Reggae Fest and Jerk Competition. Held at Centennial Park, this event promises a vibrant mix of reggae and culture, with notable performances by Mykal Rose, Digicel Rising Stars winner Shuga, AJ Brown, and others. Hosted under the distinguished patronage of Consul General Oliver Mair and Fort Myers Mayor Kevin Anderson, it’s set to be a major highlight for reggae and country fusion fans.

Looking ahead, Wesrok is working on a new EP that delves into the country and western genre, offering fans a deeper look at his versatile artistry and commitment to expanding his musical range.
