A new season of Netflix’s acclaimed docuseries “Sprint” is set to launch on November 13, and it promises to bring fans closer to some of the most thrilling moments from the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. This season will dive into the lives of top athletes from across the world as they chase glory, offering an in-depth look at their preparation, struggles, and triumphs.
Jamaican stars will be prominently featured, with Shericka Jackson continuing her story from the previous season. Rising Jamaican talents like sprinter Kishane Thompson and Oblique Seville, as well as quarter-miler Junelle Bromfield, are set to make their debuts in the series.
The show won’t just focus on Jamaica, however. Global track icons, including USA’s Noah Lyles, St. Lucia’s Julien Alfred, and Botswana’s Letsile Tebogo, will also have their Olympic journeys captured. Notable figures like Italy’s Lamont Marcell Jacobs and American athletes Gabby Thomas and Fred Kerley will round out the international cast.
With “Sprint” season two, Netflix aims to give viewers a behind-the-scenes experience of the Olympic build-up, showcasing both established champions and the next generation of track and field athletes. It’s an unmissable look at the pressures and excitement that come with competing on the world’s biggest stage.
