Washington, D.C., Saturday — In a late-night post on his Truth Social platform, President Donald Trump declared that U.S. forces conducted coordinated air strikes against three Iranian nuclear installations, including the hardened enrichment vault at Fordow.
According to the president, long-range bombers “delivered their payload precisely” on Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan before returning to base without incident. He praised American personnel for the operation’s execution, hailing them as “our great warriors” and adding that every aircraft was en route home.
The announcement followed Trump’s remark earlier this week that he would decide “within two weeks” whether to act in concert with Israel against Tehran’s nuclear infrastructure. On Saturday, aviation-tracking chatter pointed to the departure of B-2 Spirit stealth bombers—aircraft capable of deploying earth-penetrating ordnance—though the White House did not identify the platforms or munitions involved.
Iranian officials had warned of retaliation against U.S. forces across the Middle East if an attack materialized. In his post, however, Trump appealed for calm, writing, “Now is the moment for peace,” while insisting no other military could have executed a comparable mission.
