In a decisive early-morning operation on Sunday, local law enforcement apprehended a couple suspected of illegally possessing a firearm and ammunition in the Lennox area of Darliston.
Phillip Warren, 38, a resident and farmer from Lennox known by the nickname ‘Max,’ and Roshelle Hacker, 22, also from Lennox and referred to as ‘Rush,’ were detained following a thorough search of their home. Authorities reported that at approximately 5:20 AM, officers executed a warrant that resulted in the discovery of a Taurus pistol equipped with a 12-round 9mm magazine. Additionally, one live round was found chambered in the firearm, and five more rounds were uncovered stored in a pouch beneath a bed.
Both Warren and Hacker have been formally charged with possession of a prohibited weapon and unauthorized possession of ammunition. The individuals were promptly taken into custody and are awaiting their court proceedings, which are currently being scheduled.
