A 32-year-old man from Chudleigh, Christiana in Manchester was arrested on November 29, 2024, following a police interrogation that led to the discovery of a firearm and ammunition.
According to the Mandeville Police, Toby Clarke was being questioned about recent criminal activities in the area when he admitted to owning an illegal firearm. Clarke directed officers to a location where he claimed a woman was holding the weapon on his behalf.
Upon searching the property, police discovered an Arcus 9mm pistol and a magazine containing five rounds of ammunition. The woman in possession of the weapon was taken into custody, although her identity remains undisclosed as the investigation continues.
Clarke, who faces charges of possession of a prohibited weapon and unauthorized possession of ammunition, is scheduled to appear in the Manchester Parish Court on January 22, 2025.
