KINGSTON, Jamaica — A sweeping crackdown is underway in the southern corridors of the capital, as law enforcement intensifies its search for a group of individuals linked to a surge of violent offences across Kingston and St Andrew.

The operation, coordinated by senior detectives out of the Hunts Bay precinct, targets a constellation of men suspected of homicides, shootings, and armed robberies — many of whom have evaded capture for months, if not years. Officials describe this latest list not merely as a wanted roll, but as a strategic priority.

“We’re not fishing in the dark. These are not vague persons of interest. These are named figures — each tied to acts that have destabilized communities,” said one senior officer close to the investigation.

Most Urgent Targets

The names released span a broad cross-section of neighborhoods — from the hills of Red Hills to the flats of Olympic Gardens. While most face murder charges, others are being pursued for serious firearm offences and aggravated robbery.

Among the top targets:

  • A man known on the streets as “Bloodstain”, linked to a fatal shooting in Lees Flat.
  • Another, called “Son-Son”, whose last known residence was New Haven, is connected to a double homicide case.
  • Others like “Gaza Man”, “Bush”, and “Stinga” are reportedly high-ranking figures in local syndicates with long-standing criminal footprints in South St Andrew.

Meanwhile, separate names — including “Tony Hype”, “Nikki”, and “Chassy” — are wanted for gun-related offences and assaults, while Jamahl Montique stands accused of robbery with aggravation and common-law assault.

Persons Under Surveillance

In addition to the high-alert fugitives, authorities have also named several individuals under watch for possible connections to criminal conspiracies. These include:

  • Dave “Dada” King — sought for questioning in connection with a recent shooting spree in Kingston 11.
  • Andrew “Kiddy” Hall, Mark “Rasta” Bingham, and others who may have vital information or direct involvement in past incidents.

Community Involvement Critical

Law enforcement is calling on the public to resist silence and come forward.

“These aren’t ghosts — they live among us. We need Jamaicans to understand that shielding these men is complicity,” the officer added.

Information can be provided through several confidential channels:

  • 119 (Police Emergency)
  • 311 (Crime Stop)
  • Hunts Bay CIB at 876-923-7230
  • Or any local police station

Residents are urged not to confront any of the listed individuals, as most are believed to be armed and extremely dangerous.
