KINGSTON, Jamaica — With the usual mid-month filing weekend-blocked, Tax Administration Jamaica (TAJ) has confirmed that Monday, 16 June 2025 is the non-negotiable deadline for three separate payments:
- Second-quarter provisional Corporate Income Tax
- Self-employed quarterly statutory contributions
- SO1 payroll package — PAYE, Education Tax, NHT, NIS and HEART withheld from employees
Miss it and interest plus penalties start compounding immediately.
“Compliance isn’t just about staying legal; it’s about protecting your balance sheet,” a senior TAJ spokesperson noted. “Pay by the 16th and you also keep the door open to the Employment Tax Credit.”
