KINGSTON, Jamaica — Taneshia Murray doesn’t just preach the Gospel — she builds worlds with it.

With a sharpened pencil in one hand and a microphone in the other, Murray has quietly become a dual force in faith-based storytelling — turning pages and turning hearts across continents. Her work spans children’s literature, gospel music, and spiritual counseling, all woven with a singular mission: to awaken purpose in the overlooked.

An Architect of Wonder

While most remember her as a preacher or singer, Murray’s earliest foundations were laid in storytelling. Long before social media pulpits and digital distribution, she was sketching ideas in composition books, writing about characters that mirrored real-life struggles — and solutions. In 2022, she made her official publishing debut with I Am Roy, a children’s book that set the tone for a catalogue now spanning genres, from festive mysteries to interactive learning tools like Math Is Fun.

“These aren’t just books,” Murray explains. “They’re seeds.”

Soundtracks for the Soul

Music has remained her constant companion. Her debut single, I Have Won the Victory, released in her early twenties, felt more like a personal anthem than a performance. Since then, she’s produced tracks that blend worship, reflection, and spiritual provocation — never shy to sing truths that sermons sometimes sidestep.

Songs like Give Me More of You Lord and Less of Me have become quiet favorites in online gospel circles, while her upbeat release Willa-Round-N-Turn continues to find new life among younger listeners.

Ministry Without Borders

Operating beyond traditional church walls, Murray heads the Christ Tabernacle Prophetic Ministry and a spiritual support network called Murray Cleansing. Through both, she offers spiritual insight to those facing real-life issues — family collapse, mental exhaustion, emotional drought. Her guidance isn’t theoretical; it’s been requested across the Caribbean and North America, including stops in The Bahamas, Canada, and Antigua.

The Road Ahead

With new literary projects underway and a string of new music set to drop, Murray says her focus is legacy. “Not fame, not numbers — just impact,” she says.

Her books are available globally via Amazon, and her music continues to reach new audiences across platforms like Spotify and YouTube.

Taneshia Murray isn’t just building a platform. She’s building a generation.
