A devastating incident has left a local community in shock after a female construction worker lost her life in a road accident on Saturday night.

Witnesses describe a scene of chaos as the woman attempted to cross the main roadway when she was struck by a speeding motorcycle. The motorcycle, reportedly operated by an officer from the Jamaica Constabulary Force’s (JCF) Traffic Department, was traveling along the Flamingo Beach stretch at the time of the collision.

Emergency personnel arrived swiftly, transporting both the pedestrian and the injured officer to the Falmouth Public General Hospital. Sadly, the woman succumbed to her injuries, while the officer remains in serious condition, undergoing treatment.
