A 17-year-old boy has been killed in what appears to be a violent incident in St Andrew. The victim, identified as Sayid Mitchell, also known as ‘Bredda Bredda,’ was found along the intersection of Ashley Road and Burke Road on Friday morning.
According to initial reports, the tragedy unfolded around 8:40 am when residents in the area were startled by loud gunfire. Police officers, who were nearby, immediately responded to the scene and discovered Mitchell with multiple gunshot wounds.
He was rushed to the hospital, but unfortunately, he was declared dead upon arrival. The investigation is currently underway as authorities attempt to piece together the details of what led to the fatal shooting.
