Former recording artist Deezie, known in real life as Dave Meikle, is stepping into a new realm beyond music, launching his own line of personal care products named Farmbwoy. Over the past two years, Meikle has made a significant transition into the manufacturing sector, focusing on high-quality natural products, particularly castor oil.
Driven by a lifelong entrepreneurial spirit, Meikle revealed his motivations for this new path. “I’ve always dreamed of running my own business. With access to my own land, I began with livestock farming and beekeeping, eventually discovering my passion for creating natural care products,” he shared.
Nestled in Sandy Park, Clarendon, his small factory operates on the very farm he owns. With a dedicated but modest team, Meikle is enthusiastic about the production process and the growing popularity of his offerings. “Currently, we have a small but expanding team. We’re thrilled with the positive feedback, especially for our bath soap and castor oil, which have been flying off the shelves,” he said.
Looking ahead, Meikle has ambitious plans for Farmbwoy. His goal is to broaden the product line and reach international markets, bringing his unique blend of personal care products to a global audience.
