The curfew enforced in certain areas of the Kingston Western Police Division, which began on September 23, has been prolonged for an additional 48 hours. It is now set to remain in effect until 6:00 PM on Friday, September 27.

Individuals residing within the specified curfew limits are mandated to remain at home during these hours unless they obtain special permission from the designated ground commander.

The curfew’s boundaries are defined as follows:

  • North: Begins at the western edge of the Calvary Cemetery along Greenwich Park Road, extending to Lyndhurst Road and Studio One Boulevard.
  • East: Follows Slipe Pen Road from Studio One Boulevard to Asquith Street.
  • South: Stretches along Asquith Street from Slipe Pen Road to Thompson Street.
  • West: Runs along Thompson Street from Asquith Street, continuing in an imaginary line to Greenwich Park Road near the western border of the Calvary Cemetery.

Residents are encouraged to adhere to the curfew for public safety. More information will be provided as it becomes available.
